Brett Scott spent more than 20 years in government, beginning with the U.S. Department of Justice where he was a trial attorney in the Tax Division and a Senior Trial Attorney in the agency’s Civil Division.

He served former U.S. Senator Conrad Burns (R-MT) as general counsel, managing all legislative issues related to energy, commerce, finance, banking, and related appropriations.

Scott later served under U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ) as legal counsel to the Senate Subcommittee on Communications, where he advised Chairman McCain on issues impacting television broadcast, satellite services, high-tech and emerging technologies.

He holds a BA in Liberal Arts and a BA in Accountancy from the University of Mississippi as well as a JD from the University of Idaho and is licensed to practice law in Idaho and Washington. As Executive Director of the Industrial Hemp Trade Association, a not-for-profit entity, he assisted a dozen states in complying with federal requirements in establishing their hemp programs.

For more than 30 years, Mr. Yessin has represented some of the leading healthcare providers in the United States, from large university health systems to faith based institutions and community hospitals.

A graduate of the University of Virginia and Vanderbilt Law School, he has advised employers and investors around the world in Healthcare, Private Equity, Utilities, Retail, Transportation, Energy and Manufacturing sectors, and worked closely with health officials in the UK, EU, MENA and Asia.

Mr. Yessin will lead the Florida and Southeastern US Market and serve as General Counsel of AMC Holdings. He is licensed in Florida, Kentucky and several US Federal Courts.

Rick Brown, CPA has audited public companies for 30 years, and was Managing Director of the Grant Thornton office in Tampa and Coopers and Lybrand in Austin, TX before starting his own firm, Richard L. Brown and Associates. He has extensive experience auditing manufacturing, construction and real estate companies, and worked with Mr. Yessin for 6 years.

Mr. Brown is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and past President of the University of South Florida Alumni Association.

He served as chairman of the committees and subcommittees on Investment and Capital Projects for the second largest public university in Florida (USF) in Tampa.
